What personal data I collect and why I collect it
The Enewsletter subscription form only asks for an email address because I believe in privacy and that no other information is needed. Your email address will not be used for any other purpose than sending you the Enewsletter.
If you purchase an item, the information collected will be the information necessary to get the item to you (or the address you want it delivering to) the billing address, billing details and methods to contact you if there is a problem.
Who I share your data with
I share information with third parties who help provide orders and store services to you;
I use Woo commerce to process purchases. Woocommerce will track:
- Products you’ve viewed: I’ll use this to show you products you’ve recently viewed
- Location, IP address and browser type: I’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
- Shipping address: I’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!
When you purchase I’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. I’ll use this information to:
- Send you information about your account and order
- Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Set up your account for our store
- Comply with any legal obligations such as calculating taxes
- Improve our store offerings
- Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them
If you create an account, I will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.
I use Sendin blue to process Enewsletters. Only your email address is used.
How long I retain your data
If you have subscribed to the Enewsletter, I keep the email address for the duration that you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe, I delete the email address from the system.
I keep your purchase data for 5 years in accordance with tax records.
When you send information through the contact form, this is only used for the purpose of that conversation, and will not be used for any other purposes, including marketing.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
